This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to paid subscriptions to the Accountants Factory payroll software sold by Accountants Factory LLP, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. The short version: subscription fees are not refundable, and you can cancel at any time and keep using the software until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Once a billing period has begun, the fee for that period is not refundable, in whole or in part. This applies to monthly and to yearly subscriptions, and it applies whether or not the software was used during the period.
We price the first month at a heavy discount for exactly this reason. It lets you try the software properly, on your own employee data, for a small amount, before committing to anything. Please use that month to decide.
There is no notice period, no cancellation fee and no minimum term. When you cancel:
To cancel, write to reachus@accountantsfactory.com from the email address on the subscription. We will confirm in writing.
A refund is not the same thing as an incorrect charge. If you are charged twice for the same period, charged after you cancelled, or charged an amount that does not match the plan you subscribed to, that is our mistake and we refund it in full. Tell us within 30 days of the charge.
Approved refunds go back to the same payment method and the same bank account or card you paid from. We cannot send a refund anywhere else. Refunds are normally processed within 7 to 10 working days of approval; how quickly it then appears depends on your bank.
If we withdraw the software, or are unable to provide it for a reason that is ours rather than yours, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for. This is the one case where a part-period refund applies.
The payroll software is a service delivered over the internet. No physical goods are sold, shipped or delivered, so no shipping policy and no returns policy apply. Your payslips and reports are generated in your browser and downloaded by you.
Cancelling stops the billing. It does not delete your records. Your employee master and past payroll runs remain in your account, so that if you come back, or if you need a historic payslip for a statutory reason, it is still there.

All subscription prices shown on this website are exclusive of GST. GST is added at the applicable rate at checkout. A tax invoice is issued for every payment and is emailed to the address on the subscription. If you gave us your GSTIN at checkout, it appears on that invoice.
If we change these terms we will update this page before the change takes effect. A change never applies retrospectively to a period you have already paid for.
